About the Role
The Manager, Psychological Injury, is responsible for building and leading a newly established start-up team dedicated to the services required to enable workers with psychological injuries to successfully achieve safe and timely return to work - mitigating the impacts of workplace injury on the worker, their family, the workplace and the province.
Services include: Return to work (RTW), entitlement, and case management services to workers who are injured and their employers throughout Nova Scotia, while influencing culture change and preventing work disability related to those conditions. This role leads a team to ensure exemplary, timely, and compassionate service to workers and employers throughout the process leading to positive return-to-work outcomes.
The Manager, Psychological Injury, inspires and fosters an innovation mindset and builds a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement to explore new opportunities and remove barriers to provide exceptional client experience for both workers and employers. The Manager provides guidance and mentorship to team members to maximize potential and nurture the development of innovative concepts while ensuring feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
Your Experience & Skills
A University degree in Business, Health, Safety or a related field, plus a minimum of five years’ experience in a senior decision making capacity; three of which involved intensive experience in leadership/management capacity.
TRAVEL:
Occasional travel is a requirement of this position.
